Erika and I have been working together full time since she graduated in May. We have gone from our separate lives (Erika-School & Me-Retail Manager) to working together every day all day long. It has been great doing life together and working together for the purpose of getting to Italy and ministering, encouraging, and challenging people along the way but also having experienced these things along the way. One thing that I am realizing is that I could not do everything that I am doing without my wife. God knew what he was doing when He put us together. The more I am with her the more I realize how much she makes up for all that I lack in. God is awesome on how He paired us together. She challenges me and makes me a better man.
One way that God is using her is through her writing and editing of everything that we do. She is the Chief Editor in our ministry and marriage. If any of you know me I am not gifted in this department. Everything that we write, send out, put up on our blog, or e-mail out to you all has passed through her hands to be edited (a ton of work by the way). She does such an amazing job with this and I wanted to acknowledge her in this and this is why I am writing this post. She definitely compliments me in this way. I thank God for bringing her into my life and creating her as a perfect match for me.
If you are married, make a list of things how God has made your partner to complement you and make you into a better person. Don’t just make a list but also respond to it. Let them know how thankful you are for them and honor them in some way!
Thanks Erika For everything that you do.
P.S. If there is anything wrong with my sentence structure, spelling, or wordiness in thought I apologize. This post did not go through Erika’s hands!
